We have been working for some time on the first few episodes of the reality television project we shot last summer. It is set to air soon, as early as May 2nd if all goes as planned. We will post more information on where and when you can see it as we get closer to the actual air date.
For now, here is a short promo that includes some of the footage from the pilot episode.
We break our blogging absence to tell a funny story about none other than Sophia. But first, here are some recent pictures of the kids.
Now for the story:
Erin called me at work this afternoon. “Hey, how is your afternoon?” “Things are going well, you?” “Do you have a hand saw?” “Why would you need a hand saw?” “To cut Sophie out of the chair she is stuck in.”
I drove home as fast as I could and here is what I found.
We walked her out to the garage so we wouldn’t get sawdust all over the house. I chose to use a jig saw as it was much less intimidating than a huge hand saw.
We are still not sure how she got into the chair like that. And, knowing Sophie, it wouldn’t surprise me if she managed to do it again.
I am a few days late but 2009 was a great year. I won’t bore you with typing much because there are a million pictures ahead…

We had a great year, one full of changes. I think after going to Africa for 2 months we should have known we were in for a lot of changes in our family. You really can’t go and come back the same.
Thank you all for being a part of our 2009. Here’s to 2010!
